VOLUNTEERS – WEDNESDAY SAILING NEEDS YOUR HELP!
The Edwards has a long tradition of running the summer series on a Wednesday afternoon.  It is a major part of our calendar.  The officials have always been a lonely band, with John Christie being the sole Starter for the past few years.

WEDNESDAY SAILING IS IN DANGER OF CEASING TO EXIST!

John will be away for 10 of the rounds in the coming season.  In the past we have relied on temporary help to fill the gaps, but, frankly, this has not always proved successful, so we need to form a regular team of race officials (say 3).Are you willing to learn the ropes?You don’t even need to be a sailor, and you don’t have to leave dry land, but you do need to be able to give of your time on a regular basis.The sad fact is, if we can’t get a team together by mid September, this long-running series will almost certainly cease to be run by the RPEYC, and may well disappear altogether.PLEASE HELP.  Become an invaluable contributor to your Club and maintain a longstanding tradition.
